Our trajectory began in 1994. From our headquarters in Vilassar de Mar (Barcelona - Spain), we have developed a global vision that has allowed us to cross horizons and grow internationally. Our presence extends to more than 60 countries through our headquarters, certified distributors and strategic partners.
1994 - Establishment
Our journey began in Vilassar de Mar with a very clear idea, to develop the best solutions for any labeling, coding and marking needs.
1995 - First APL
We launched our first labeling equipment on the market, the APL, which has evolved over the years to incorporate the latest technology.
2003 - First stop: Mexico
After 9 years, we decided to expand internationally by opening our first subsidiary in Queretaro, Mexico.
2006 - APLINK is born
We created our first APLINK equipment for direct printing on any surface, to provide a solution to the needs of coding on boxes and products.
2007 - Buongiorno Italia
We opened our second subsidiary in Europe, concretely in Milan, Italy in order to be closer to our customers.
2009 - Expansion to the States
The great demand for equipment in North America led us to open our new office in California, USA, to continue our international expansion.
2012 - APLINK family grows
In order to be able to print on any surface, we manufacture UV technology for inmediate curing of UVLED ink and in addition, we introduce the APLINK Dual for two-sided printing in real time.
2013 - New office in Brazil

We opened a new office in Latin America, this time in Brazil, Sao Paulo, in order to be closer to our customers and offer them a better and faster technical service.
2017 - UBS rebrand
After more than two decades, United Barcode Systems renews its corporative image updating its logo, corporate colors and slogan.
2019 - We arrived in Turkey
We opened our third subsidiary in Europe, in Turkey, to further increase our World Wide presence.
2022 - HR Platform
Our new generation of printers. Thanks to them we achieve one of our main goals: "Taking coding to the next level".
2024 - 30th Anniversary
We celebrate our presence in more than 60 countries and with more than 10,000 satisfied customers by offering solutions to labeling, coding and marking needs, with our equipment and software designed and manufactured with the latest technology on the market.
